The king's ring

I read this story about the king that had a seat on a chair and he put his ring on a string but a bird came swept out of his hand and after that he got it back .  When I read the story it rhymed and the rhyming words ended with an ing sound it was really easy for me because how I am a high reader.

Lion and the mouse

Lion caught Tiny Mouse then let him go. Mouse later got Lion out of the trap.

Yesterday I had to rewrite a story in only 16 words.  I had to choose my words carefully so that it still make sense.
